Founded in 1994 after the fall of the Iron Curtain, the JCC Budapest offers a true home for the Jewish community of Hungary, offering programs for all generations – from children and families to singles and adults, to seniors and Holocaust survivors. We are also the center of major Hungarian Jewish festivals, from Judafest to the Jewish and Israeli Film Festival.

Dynamism and constant reinvention is part of our strategy – and we pride ourselves on innovative discussion series, the best Hungarian cake in our café, chances to engage in service in and outside our immediate community, art exhibits, Jewish learning, social events, and a well-equipped modern fitness room and sauna.
